Besides performing, an intense routine of weight training and cardio Michelle Obama finishes her workout with what is referred to as… "arm shaping superset."
Her upper arm exercises consist of triceps pushdowns and hammer curls.

This simple exercise routine is responsible for one of the most commented upon pair of arms in the world… and it allows Mrs. Obama to wear sleeveless outfits.
This arm shaping workout routine is performed as follows…
- Perform a set of triceps pushdowns using a set of resistance bands or a straight bar attached to a cable machine.
- Perform 10 to 15 repetitions and then without resting in between immediately –perform a set of hammer curls using dumbbells or resistance bands.
- Rest for one minute then repeat the entire process again for 2 to 3 sets of both exercises.
The details of Michelle's fitness workout was recently revealed as a series of interviews by both President Obama and her on their personal fitness, nutrition habits and views towards healthcare.
The incredible part about using this "arm shaping superset" workout is that it takes very little time and will easily get rid of the "saggy fat" that most women have on the lower part of their arms (triceps.)
Exercise Equipment Needed to Perform Michelle Obama's Arm Workout
It isn't necessary for you run out and join your local gym or health club. Besides, they are not exactly cheap! This arm workout can be performed in the comfort and convenience of your home with some simple exercise equipment.
You can use a set of dumbbells, resistance bands, or an isometric exerciser. These are all inexpensive usually under $100 and have the added advantage of being portable. (Purchasing a set of adjustable dumbbells is more expensive than the other two solutions.)
