I recently saw the movie "Running the Sahara" — if you haven't seen the movie it has been showing on HBO channels. You can take a look at the trailer for the movie below.

It's about three runners who ran across the entire Sahara desert. It was a total of 4300 miles (6920 km) the entire trip took them 111 days and they traveled through six different countries.

What is unique about this though is that each of the runners ran what amounted to two marathons per day (40 miles — 64 km)

9000 Calories per Day

They consumed 6 to 9000 calories per day… drank 1.5 quarts of water per hour… had to endure sandstorms and the sweltering heat of the Sahara desert.

However, the biggest battle was in their mind.

Perhaps like me you might have asked yourself what would compel these three athletes take on such a challenge?

The answer lies in that they wanted to push their physical and mental limits.

Watching this film was extremely motivational and I urge you to watch it for yourself and to recommit yourself to working out with your Bully Xtreme isometric home gym.
