Isometric Strength Training – Range of Motion in Isometric Strength Training

Dear Friend,

A Bully Xtreme customer recently asked questions regarding Isometric Strength Training and how to use a full range of motion in your workouts.

According to Frank Sherrill — here is how it works…

In using isometrics –range of motion is not that critical.

Range of motion is more important when using isotonics (more than one repetition and sets) however, you can break down the isometric exercise into three different ranges for example with the bicep curl –

You could start the isometric hold at the beginning of the curl — the middle — and then just before you completely finish a curl. that would be three ranges of motion.

However, there is no scientific evidence that indicates that working through the entire range of motion using isometrics actually does anything different or better than doing a static contraction.

Here’s the real deal … to develop a full range of motion Mr. Sherrill always recommends that you use resistance bands. Some of the best on the market today are the Bodylastics resistance bands.

This is so incredible you won’t believe it … the owner of Bodylastics has recently allowed us to give our customers a 5% discount off of his low internet prices. This coupon code is only good until January 4, 2010 by the way.

You can try after that date although I can’t guarantee it will work… but it’s worth a shot!

If you wish to take advantage of this just click on the link below and on the order page use the Bodylastics Coupon Code “build” — of course don’t include the quote marks.

Mr. sherrill considers the Bodylastics resistance bands the best on the market today and they even come with a lifetime warranty.

They even include some really great bonuses such as:

  • Strength University: this is an online membership site that shows you videos on how to perform each and every exercise.
  • Training Program: while it’s not as good as the Bully Xtreme Iso-Synergy training program — it still explains how to use resistance bands properly.

These are just some of the bonuses that you get with your Bodylastics purchase as well have some great bonuses.

I hope this answers your question.

Sincerely Yours,

Robert Jones

PS While this article is not necessarily a Bodylastics review you can find a really unbiased and thorough one here >>> Bodylastics Review There you will find additional information about the Bodylastics resistance band system.
