Daniel Craig Quantum of Solace Workout Vs. Casino Royale Workout
Daniel Craig Quantum of Solace Workout Secrets
By now you have undoubtedly seen both films… if you are James Bond fan.
And, it is obvious to everyone that this time around Daniel Craig did not appear as "muscled up" as he did in the beach scene in his first James Bond film… Casino Royale.
The Casino Royale workout was focused on weight training and utilizing supersets in exercises such as the, clean and jerk, squats, bench pressing, etc.
This Daniel Craig Workout Is Designed to Put on Muscle Size!
The Quantum of Solace Workout was focused more on boxing and running. Some would say that he went from "looking like he could kick some butt" to actually being able to do it. That is strictly academic because, being strong and being able to kick butt are not necessarily the same thing. Kicking butt is not just about physical strength it is also about skill.
However, let's get back to be differences between the Quantum of Solace workout vs Casino Royale workout.
In addition to adding boxing to the training regimen, the Daniel Craig Workout also included sprints and plyometric jumping. During the filming of Casino Royale he was required to do a lot of jumping and sprinting. Unfortunately, he wasn't prepared for it and consequently ended up injuring himself in the process.
This time around he decided to add both of these components to his training program.
Daniel Craig's Weight Training Circuits
If your goal is to add some muscle size and to get lean at the same time your best bet is to use compound movements. Consequently, it's no great surprise that the Daniel Craig workout for quantum muscles included weight training circuits.
These circuits consisted of squats, clean and jerks, and a lot of pushing and pulling.
Even his cardiovascular training was changed. Instead of constantly doing sprints they mixed it up with hitting the pads. Which of course is a boxing workout.
Daniel Craig's Cardio Secret
If you're trying to get leaner than you might want to consider a boxing workout in lieu of just beating up the treadmill.
It also has been rumored that Daniel Craig also added in Yoga and Pilates in preparation for this film. As he did before he again turned to his personal trainer Simon Waterson to help him put together his diet.
Although there was not too much information about the Daniel Craig diet this time, I would imagine it was very similar to the original one. Eat six meals a day, high-protein, low carbs, low fat and drink plenty of water.
By this point in time dieting is pretty much a no-brainer. If you're looking to get in shape for the summer or even the winter you may want to give either the Casino Royale workout or the quantum of solace workout a try. Either way, you may just turn out looking like a ripped and muscular secret agent.
